MMA-KO GETS A EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH CUNG LE

MMA-KO: First off Cung Le we would like to thank you for this opportunity for having you here on MMA-KO it’s an honor.

Cung Le: Thank you very much for having me.

MMA-KO: On March 29th, at the HP Pavilion you will be taking on Frank Shamrock for the Middleweight Championship. How excited are you about this Championship fight?

Cung Le: I am very excited and I am going to be ready to go on March 29th.

MMA-KO: This fight with Frank Shamrock is going to be a very awesome fight. What is your mind frame coming into this title fight?

Cung Le: I am very excited, very excited.

MMA-KO: How do you see this Championship fight going?

Cung Le: When the smoke clears I know that the better man is going to be standing. It is going to be a great fight.

MMA-KO: How is your training coming along?

Cung Le: The training is coming along very well. I’m in great shape. I feel very fresh and defiantly not over trained.

MMA-KO: Looking at Frank, do you see anything in his arsenal that might give you a problem?

Cung Le: Maybe if it went to the ground it would be at his advantage but other than that I am very confident.

MMA-KO: You are a devastating striker. What type of training do you do to get such awesome skill and power?

Cung Le: That is a secret.

MMA-KO: What do you think your advantages are going to be in this Championship fight?

Cung Le: I’m very explosive. I’m very fast and I have alot of weapons that are very dangerous.

MMA-KO: Cung , You are 17 and 0 in Kick Boxing and 5 and 0 in MMA. How hard was it making the transition to MMA?

Cung Le: It was pretty hard. Learning the ground game. But it was a fun transition.

MMA-KO: Out of all your fights what was the most powerful moment ever?

Cung Le: I would have to say against Tony Fryklund. That was my best performance.

MMA-KO: What is the one thing you want people to know about Cung Le?

Cung Le: I have great faith in the Lord.

MMA-KO: Tell us about your new gym?

Cung Le: My gym that is about to open is called Universal Strength Headcorders and it’s going to have weights, cardio, cage, lots of mats, and bags. It’s set up for the average person and for the professional fighters.
