MMA-KO: I would like to introduce myself. I
am Jeff Gallion with MMA-KO and MIKE: No Problem! MMA-KO: Mike that was a great fight at UFC 85 vs Marcus Davis. How excited are you coming away with such a dominating win? MIKE: It feels good. I am happy. MMA-KO: Now coming away again with another win, What is next for you? MIKE: As far as fights go, I'm not sure at the moment. I am however heading to Vegas tomorrow for the World Series Of Poker. I try to play in those events every year. MMA-KO You have awesome stand up and powerful leg kicks that come fast with KO power. What type of training do you do to get such great skills? MIKE: We just work a lot of kicking. Javier has me do all kinds of drills... MMA-KO: How do you prepare for a fight? MIKE: Its a lot to type for an interview! ha ha Please be more specific. MMA-KO How did you first get started in MMA? MIKE: I started in Tae-Kwon-Do at age 8. I just went from there to kickboxing and then on to MMA... MMA-KO How much did the Ultimate Fighter show change your life? MIKE: Considerably... It changed everything! MMA-KO: Name four people in the fight industry that inspire you? MIKE: Too many to name! MMA-KO Mike you have a awesome record with 12 wins and just 2 losses to Yushin Okami and Chris Leben. If the UFC said you can rematch whatever one you wanted who would it be and why? MIKE: I tried to rematch Leben and it didn't work. I would rematch Yushin... MMA-KO When do you think you will get your much deserved title shot? MIKE: I am not focusing on it at the moment. Just getting higher in the division... MMA-KO: Tell us one thing about yourself that your fans wouldn’t suspect? MIKE: That I love Ice Cream! MMA-KO: What is the one thing you want people to know about MIKE “QUICK” SWICK?
