Fight 4: Tanner
Hermann vs. Devon Herrera (155 lbs.)
This fight is the first where the Grassvalley fandom reared their
enthusiastic voices. Devon was at the receiving end of a loud roar
when he was announced and while he gained applause my sources tell
me he had to drop 10 lbs. the night before in order to make weight
for this bout. Tanner making his impressive debut took down Devon
with a thunderous boom clamped down on his jugular and RNC’d him
right out of the cage. Devon tapped at 1:10 in the first round.

Fight 5: Josh Fraga
vs. Robbie Hammill (155 lbs.)
Robbie started off with a nice takedown however Josh seemed to have
a decent ground defense. It took Robbie a while to get a mount and
he then tried and failed to secure a keylock. Robbie transitioned to
full mount but with only 10 seconds to go he did not have enough to
end the fight. Round 2 started the same as the same as the first
Robbie was having way with Josh. Josh like Robbie in the first
finish the round with full mount throwing haymakers and is only
stopped by the bell. The third round was the best of the fight. Josh
slips to open round attempting a front kick. Josh returned to his
feet and started throwing punches only to be countered by Robbie
displaying a half dozen knee blows to Josh’s skull. The takedowns
give Robbie the unanimous decision.

Fight 6: Jose
Medina vs. Willy Boatwright (145 lbs.)
Jose quickly
takes down Willy and then Willy returns the favor. This results in
an armbar that ended Willy’s night with him screaming and rolling
around the canvas in pain.

Fight 7: Scott Rosa
vs. Keith Gavin (210 lbs)-catch
Keith had a guillotine choke for a good portion of the first round
but could not close off the artery. Scott got out took Keith down
and got the full mount and pummeled Keith until the referee stopped
it at 2:35 of the first round.
