MMA Legend Bas Rutten as he celebrates the grand opening of Elite
MMA. Rutten's new 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art training
facility will offer classes in all major aspects of Mixed Martial
Arts, as well as the world famous Bas Rutten Mixed Martial Arts
System.
Many MMA celebrities will be in attendance. Members of the media are
encouraged to attend - great photo and video opportunities!
Food, drinks, and special gifts for all in attendance!

WHO: MMA Legend Bas Rutten and Special Celebrity Guests As an actor,
video game model, color commentator, television host, coach, and
entrepreneur, Bas Rutten is a popular and highly respected MMA
personality recognized worldwide. Rutten has personally advised and
instructed many of the top fighters in the world, as well as many
famous celebrities.
Celebrity Guests:
. Kevin James - James is an actor widely known for playing Doug
Heffernan on the CBS sitcoms The King of Queens and Everybody Loves
Raymond. He is also known for his roles in the comedy films Hitch, I
Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, and Grown
Ups.
. Cris "Cyborg" Santos - Santos is a well-known Brazilian mixed
martial arts fighter and currently the Strikeforce Women's
Middleweight Champion. Santos, known for her aggressive fight style,
claimed the Strikeforce title in 2009 by defeating Gina Carano via
TKO.
. Kevin Randlemen - Randleman is well-known mixed martial arts
fighter and a former UFC heavyweight champion. He has competed in
the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions, appearing in
organizations including the UFC, PRIDE, WVR, and Strikeforce. He is
known for his athleticism and explosive power.
. "Big John" McCarthy - The 'Octagon's ninth side', is the former
head referee for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, a Los Angeles
Police Officer, and a Tactical Self-Defense Instructor at the Los
Angeles Police Academy. He formerly provided commentary and analysis
for The Fight Network's coverage of UFC events.
. Gene LeBell - LaBell is a former American Judo champion,
instructor, stunt performer, stunt coordinator, and professional
wrestler born in Los Angeles. LeBell has worked on over 1,000 films
and TV shows, and has authored a number of books.
. Steven "The Fight Professor" Quadros - Quadros is best known for
his role as host and/or television commentator for some of the
largest and most successful fight shows in the world. As an actor,
Quadros has starred, guest-starred or co-starred in over 30 films
and television shows, working with such Hollywood luminaries as Cuba
Gooding Jr., Peter Falk, and Blair Underwood. He is also one of the
world's leading martial arts and combat sports journalists.
. Jason "Mayhem" Miller - Miller is a dynamic mixed martial arts
fighter known for both his flashy entrances and exciting fighting
style. He regularly co-hosts "Mayhem Mondays" on The Jason Ellis
Show on Sirius satellite radio. Miller also hosts a reality show
called Bully Beatdown, which airs on MTV.
. Benji "The Razor" Radach - Radach is a UFC and EliteXC veteran who
currently fights for Strikeforce. The popular mixed martial arts
fighter is also a former member of the Los Angeles Anacondas of the
International Fight League.
. Krzysztof "The Polish Experiment" Soszynski - Soszynski is a
popular, hard-hitting UFC fighter in the light heavyweight division.
He appeared on season 8 of The Ultimate Fighter and is also a former
member of the Los Angeles Anacondas of the International Fight
League.
. Renato "Babalu" Sobral - Sobral is a Brazilian mixed martial arts
fighter and former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion. Sobral
earned his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr and
is known for his aggressive style, grappling prowess, and
high-caliber submissions.
