CageSport XI
July 24, 2010
Chanti Johnson vs. Roy Bradshaw
Sarah D’Alelio vs. Melissa Steele
(Tacoma,
WA) Brian Halquist Productions brings the Northwest’s favorite
combative sports event back to the Emerald Queen Casino for
CageSport XI on Saturday July 24th, 2010. Doors open at 6 pm, with
the first fight beginning at 7 pm. In the Co-main event Olympia’s
own Sarah “The Monster” D’Alelio (1-0) will face Melissa Steele
(0-1) who hails from Long Beach CA. This fight will lead up to an
explosive main event that features Chanti “The Brooklyn Knight”
Johnson (6-2) and Roy “Precious” Bradshaw (4-2).
Johnson has compiled a perfect 3-0 record at the Emerald Queen
Casino, not allowing a single fight to go all three rounds. Johnson,
who has made himself a crowd favorite, comes into the cage ready to
fight and has an aggressive style, which gives him an advantage over
most of his opponents. His opponent, Roy Bradshaw (4-2) is coming
off of 2 submission victories, most recently was a win over
previously undefeated fighter John Albert. Bradshaw has won all his
professional fights by submission, and may be looking to take this
fight to the ground against the striker Johnson.
In one of the featured fights of the evening, Sarah “The Monster”
D’Alelio (1-0) will face Melissa Steele (0-1). D’Alelio is a blue
belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and holds an impressive 6-1 amateur
record. Back at CageSport IX, D’Alelio won her pro debut by
submitting fellow MMA fighter Sarah Oriza by guillotine choke in
just 29 seconds. Melissa Steele (0-1) also boasts an impressive
amateur record of 4-1, both in kickboxing and MMA. Steele will look
to get into the win column after losing her pro-debut against Karina
Hallinan last January. Both fighters are going into their second
professional fight, and will try to make a statement in their young
careers.
Also on the card will be Pacific Northwest local fighters, Dave
“Insane” Courchaine (4-3) and “Diamond” Ryan Healy (5-6-1).
Courchaine has compiled a 3-0 record at the Emerald Queen Casino. In
his most recent fight, Courchaine dominated Jory Erickson with a 1st
round TKO victory. His opponent, Ryan Healy is a three-time
competitor of the WEC and is coming off of a win against Rod
Montoya. This fight will challenge both fighters as they look to
continue their success in the cage.
These three fights highlight a night of 10 action packed fights.
Other local fighters that will be in action are Sterling “Thunda
Kat” Ford (10-4), Jeff “Boo Boo” Bailey (3-2) and Kyle “Kodiak”
Keeney. Don’t miss the opportunity to watch the NW’s premier
fighters go head to head.
