COLLEGE CAGE SERIES FEBRUARY 6TH TRY OUTS

College Cage Series is a pro Mixed Martial Arts company that is providing a chance to educate the sport’s top young athletes through the College Cage Series Scholarship program. Our scholarship program will allow young fighters in college and aspiring to attend college to compete in a tournament judged by their top peers such as world champions and elite contenders in MMA as well as promoter Shane Corbin and world champion trainer juanito Ibarra. The winners will compete in a major show with Shane Corbin Promotions elite contenders and world championship fighters. We will be doing multiple shows and tournaments throughout the year. These tournaments will have college students fighting against college students (i.e. UCLA vs USC). The winners of the College Cage Series tournament will be given championship rings and scholarship money as well as a chance to sign multi fight contracts. Each tournament and show will be filmed as a full season TV series and at the end of each year there will be a large scale P.P.V tournament consisting of all yearly tournament winners.

Our first tryouts will be held Saturday February 6th 2010 at World Class MMA in Westminster California. Our Judges will be Vitor Belfort, “Sugar” Shane Mosley, and “The Legend” Royce Gracie as well as promoter Shane Corbin and world champion trainer juanito Ibarra. This will all be filmed for a 6 episode TV series and winners of the tournament will receive scholarship money and fight for our major production Collision in the Cage Friday night march 19th 2010 at the Bren Events Center, University California Irvine.
