KING OF THE CAGE- MAKING WAVES AND RIDING THEM INTO RENO

RENO, NV – This has been an interesting week for MMA-KO. Jamie "El Cucui" Jara signs a 6 fight contract with King of the Cage and will be taking on Tim "Biz" Means. For those of you who don’t know Jamie, you soon will. He is a tatted up warrior with a bit of wild in his eyes and a genuine nice guy that is a future MMA-KO Hall of Famer (On March 12th 2010).

Next I’m told that they will be bringing KOTC to the Silver Legacy in Reno. “What? No way!” I was stoked. I have been covering Northern Nevada for almost a year and shows are hard to come by out here. This is huge, KOTC in my own backyard. Jeff the Gallion Stallion makes a few phone calls and comes through big time. We’re in!

This is old news but for those of you who don’t know: Mark Burnett who has produced shows like Survivor and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader has invested in King of the Cage and they have since inked a deal with HDnet. Terry Trebilcock has brought KOTC from tennis courts to PPV and is now rubbing elbows with the likes of Mark Burnett and Mark Cuban. Wow!

In closing this reporter/fanatic would like to thank all those involved in allowing MMA-KO to be a part of what is sure to be a mark in the time line of MMA.
See you there! – Eric “MoneyShot” Morrison.
