Despite his controversial loss to StrikeForce Light Heavyweight Champion
Gegard Mousasi at the New Year's Eve "Dynamite!!" event in Japan, MMA
pioneer Gary "Big Daddy" Goodridge will still headline MMA Big Show's "NEW
DAWN" against young stud "The Monster" Ron Sparks this Saturday. Sparks
presents a different type of threat than Mousasi: he is 6'5", 285 lbs. "Big
Daddy" is looking to rebound from this recent setback, get back in the win
column, and prove he can still hang with today's heavyweight beasts.

There's a lot at stake for both fighters. Sparks is a rising up-and-comer
with some fans in the bigger promotions. In fact, he's been told that with a
win over Goodridge, he'll be considered for one of the top promotions out
there (shhh.it's a secret!). Also featured in the co-main event will be
former TUF competitor Luke Zachrich battling undefeated Byron Sutton for the
MMA Big Show Light Heavyweight strap. Zachrich is one of the most talented
fighters never to fight in the UFC, and he's looking to get himself in
position to get the call from one of the big shows. In the meantime, he
wants to be a champion in MMA Big Show.
