welcome the third installment of Reno Xtreme Fights (RXF) with a
middleweight match-up between Brandon "Flawless" Gonzalez (10-0, 9
KOs)
from Sacramento and Darnell Boone (16-14, 6 KOs) from Atlanta, 8
p.m.
Friday, March 19.
RXF III will feature three boxing and four mixed martial arts bouts.
The
card currently stands as follows:
Boxing: Brandon "Flawless" Gonzales (10-0, 9 KOs) of Sacramento vs.
Darnell Boone (16-14, 6 KOs) of Atlanta, in an eight-round
middleweight
bout
MMA: Rick "The Holy Terror" Reeves (9-3) of Reno vs. Derrick Burnsed
(5-0) of Sacramento in a three-round middleweight bout
Boxing: Karim "Hard Hitta" Mayfield (11-0, 7 KOs) from San Francisco
vs.
Jason Davis of Vancouver, Wash. (11-5, 3 KOs) in a six-round
welterweight bout
MMA: Buddy Roberts (7-2) of Reno vs. Rick Randolph (4-3) of
Roseville,
Calif. in a three-round light-heavyweight bout
MMA: Jenny Trujillo (1-0) of San Jose, Calif. vs. Nicole Johnson
(1-1)
of Roseville, Calif. in a three-round featherweight bout
Boxing: Omar Zalvidar (Pro Debut) of Reno vs. TBA in a four-round
junior
middleweight bout
MMA: Josh Turner (3-1) of Reno vs. Adam Albright (3-1) of San
Francisco
in a three-round middleweight bout
Fight card is subject to change.
An open workout will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 17 at Elite
Fitness
in Reno and the weigh-in is 6 p.m. Thursday, March 18 at Xtreme
Sports
Bar + Lounge.
Reno Xtreme Fights is a boxing and mixed martial arts series of
events
between Grand Sierra Resort and Casino and Let's Get it on
Promotions.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. for the fight on Friday, March 19 with the
first bout at 8 p.m. in the Grand Theatre. Tickets are $100, $75,
$50
and $25. Tickets for a King's Row Booth for four are $1,000 which
