Silver Star Casting Co.'s Charis B. Teams Up With The Armed
Forces Foundation To Call Attention to Another Kind of Fighter
At Cage Fashion 2
(IRVINE, CA) - Silver Star Casting Co. co-owner, Charis B., will
introduce the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF) support tee at the
Cage Fashion 2 event at Mix in the Mandalay Bay, Friday, July
10th at 8:00 PM. First Lieutenant Christopher Carlsen and
Captain Mark Little of the United States Army will help debut
the AFF support tee; Carlsen will model in the fashion show.
The Armed Forces Foundation is a non-profit organization
dedicated to assisting troops and their families, like 1LT
Carlsen and CPT Little who were wounded in combat. After leading
over 100 combat patrols in Iraq, 1LT Carlsen was medically
retired and awarded a Bronze Star when his LMTV rolled over
causing him to lose a leg. CPT Mark D. Little lost both his legs
when his vehicle was hit by an explosive outside Baghdad. Silver
Star’s Armed Forces Foundation support tee was created to
recognize and help fund the Armed Forces Foundation’s many
programs that support active-duty and retired personnel, such as
financial assistance for essential needs, therapeutic
recreational activities, and support for military children and
families.
