The Fight Club Light-Heavyweight World Championship will be on the line when Edmonton's Victor Valimaki (15-5) takes on current ECC Light-Heavyweight champ Lew Polley September 18th at TFC 8 "Salvation". Polley (10-2), who won the ECC title by upsetting Roger Hollett in his home town, will be looking to be the spoiler again as he comes to E-town to face Valimaki. Valimaki, who has fought in the UFC, has won 6 straight fights since losing to the same Roger Hollett back in August 2007.

 Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford (9-2) will face Markhaile Wedderburn (8-4) in a fight with title shot implications as current TFC Canadian Welterweight champ Claude Patrick is scheduled to face the winner of this bout in his first title defense at TFC9, December 4th in Edmonton. 

 Other bouts scheduled will feature some of Canada's top MMA prospects including Luke Harris (6-1), Jordan Mckay (5-0), Jason Gorny (3-1) and more, 12 fights in total are scheduled.
