 Unbreakable's
David Barnett back in action for King of the Cage Uppercut on March
13th

Warren has been a busy man thus far in March, cornering one of his
Unbreakable Gym prospects on the Smackdown at the Shrine card on
March 4th, then announcing his own involvement with an April contest
under the same promotional banner (he'll fight Roman Mitichyan on
the 29th). Now, another of his young up and comers is set to square
off at a King of the Cage event on March 13th.
David Barnett (1-1) last fought at Respect in the Cage 3 in February
where he was overwhelmed and submitted in just 38 seconds by another
local phenom named Craig Wilkerson. He'll head to Laughlin Nevada's
Avi Casino to square off with one of the Barberena brothers, Bryan
specifically. Siblings Kody and Kevin Barberena are also competing
on the card.
Barnett hails from Brian Warren's Unbreakable Gym in San Bernardino,
California. The date in Laughlin will mark his third professional
outing and his first at a weight of 180 pounds. He normally competes
at the welterweight limit of 170.
“King of the Cage Uppercut” marks the first trip into Nevada this
year for the southern California based promotional entity. Scheduled
dates in Las Vegas and Reno, which will be their second ever live
broadcast on Hdnet, are set during the weeks that follow the fights
on March 13th. “Uppercut” will be headlined by a junior welterweight
match-up of Thomas Kenney and Scottie Merritt.
