MMA-KO GETS A EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH JC CEARLEY

MMA KO :How did you originally get into MMA?

J.C. :I started wrestling in high school and did it college unfortunately there's no real established organization like the NFL or NBA for wrestling. But there is the UFC and it was clear to me that if I wanted to pursue a professional athletic career then MMA was the way to go.

MMA KO :At this early point in your career, what is your main short term and long-term goals?
J.C. :Short term, its partly an old wrestling saying, "train till near death rest repeat, then compete and kick ass." Long term to be the UFC champion of the world.

MMA KO :What is your favorite fighting style?

J.C. :Well it is MMA and in the words of the late great Bruce Lee "its not about one style its all styles" and in my opinion that's the only way to excel in this sport.

MMA KO :How do most people react when they find out that you are a professional fighter?

J.C. :The general reaction from people is surprise because im a real even tempered person they say things like "you don't seem like a mean guy" and my response is that Im not and the sports not about that, keyword being SPORT. Im a professional athlete competing in a professional sport, a dangerous one but a sport non the less.

MMA KO :How do you prepare for a fight?

J.C. :I train as hard as I can everyday and I try to go places where people are better then  me and will push me harder then I can push my self.

MMA KO :Tell me one thing about yourself that people wouldn't normally suspect?

J.C. :Lol, actually there are quiet a few thing that I could tell you one is that I like computer gaming, but the biggest one is that what I really love to do is cook. I actually went to culinary school and I do catering on the side.

MMA KO :What is one thing you want people to know about J C CEARLEY

J.C. :I'm just a normal guy tryin to do the best he can for his family and loved ones.

MMA KO :On April 7 TH you are going to fight Donny “The Beast “ Easterling. What do you know about him ?

J.C. :Nothing. And I don't want to know anything about him Im going train the way I train regardless and that's to be ready for every situation and so I can go in to the ring and do what I do. There's no reason to prepare for 1 single fighter at this stage in the game.

MMA KO :Is there anyone you would like to thank ?

J.C. :Ya actually, my wrestling Coaches at Lincoln High School Mike Sandler Val Cabanig my Fresno State Coaches Dennis DeLiddo Geri Abas and Billy Blunt aswell as Eric Shingu Ernest Mello Steve Heath Moses Cortez Mike Suyematsu my parents my girlfriend and my son.

MMA KO :Any thing you would like to say in closing ?

J.C. :Thanks to anybody that supports me and follows me and all the fans of the sport MMA wouldnt be as big as it is with out you, and to those of you that don't know me you will soon.

MMA KO :One last Question , who will win Tim Sylvia or Randy Couture ?

J.C. :I got my money on Couture.
